It’s the fall of 2022, and you’re ready to register or log in to MySNHU, but you have no idea what the process looks like! In today’s blog post, we wanted to share with you the steps students will need to take in order to get registered or log in to MySNHU, including remembering your password and re-registering if it doesn’t work. We hope this helps as you prepare for registration in Fall 2022! Let us know in the comments if you have any questions about how registration will work in 2022!
What has changed in MySNHU,?
This year, SNHU made some changes to the login process. You can now log into your account with any email address, and password, and answer the security question. If you forget your password or security question answer during registration, we’ll send you a link that will let you reset it. We’ve also made improvements to the way we display information on our website so that it’s easier for users to find what they’re looking for.
- Registration is still free, but now there’s no limit on how many courses you can take each term as long as you have completed all pre-requisite courses.
- All of these changes are designed to make it easier than ever before for students at SNHU–whether they’re returning or new–to register.
How will this affect the MySNHU registration process?
This new, streamlined process will make it easier than ever before to register for classes at SNHU. The student can now log in using their email address and password that is currently used on the website. The student’s information will be automatically populated, so they won’t have to input it again. The student can then easily search for courses by keyword, location, or start date.
1) After logging in with their email address and password, students will see a list of all of their courses with the last section marked My Courses. This is where they’ll find all of their future courses that are coming up as well as any past ones.
2) Then, students can either click on a specific course under their upcoming courses or past ones. If it’s an upcoming course, it will appear with a registration button where they can easily enroll into it. If it’s a past course that has already ended, then clicking on that course will bring up a full list of all of their grades along with any transcripts if they have requested them.
What do I need to do now for MySNHU?
- Make sure you have a new email address ready with your desired username.
- Come up with a password that is difficult to guess, but easy to remember.
- Create a strong account password by using capital letters, numbers, and symbols like !@#$%^&*()_+=-=<> {}
- If you want an extra layer of security, you can use two-factor authentication. This will require that you enter a security code sent via text message or app when logging in from an unrecognized device.
What MySNHU mean for me in the future?
In the future, you’ll need a new login ID and password for MySNHU, so make sure you save these somewhere safe. Now you can register with your name or email address, but if you choose the latter option, we will send an email with instructions on how to get your username. Once you signed up in MySNHU, it’s time to start creating your account with some personal information.
You’ll be asked about your current major/minor, preferred course style (online vs. on-campus), degree level (undergraduate or graduate), university status (currently enrolled or alumni), and student type (undergraduate or graduate). If you are currently enrolled at SNHU as an undergraduate student, you’ll need to provide your class schedule so that our system knows when courses are available for registration.
Once your account is set up, it’s time to start registering for classes. Choose at least six credits by clicking on your desired courses. If you’re eligible, you can select as many credits as necessary with a limit of 32 credits per semester. You’ll be asked whether or not you want financial aid (and if yes, how much), followed by questions regarding your academic history, tuition payment status, and study mode.
Before proceeding to payment options, be sure that all required information has been filled out correctly so you don’t have any surprises when registration is complete. The last step is payment details — confirm your billing information by entering a credit card number or checking an option for financial aid; click on Submit Payment once done.
