Microsoft OneNote is a great alternative if you’re not comfortable with traditional note-taking applications or don’t want to worry about syncing your notes across multiple devices. 3) Firefox Extension
Google Chrome has a free extension called VideoSurf that lets you find and download videos from YouTube. To install it, click on the search bar in Chrome and type VideoSurf into the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your browser. After clicking on the link for VideoSurf, the page will go to their website and prompt you to click on Add. Click on Add and close your browser, and reopen it. Once reopened, when you are watching a video, there will be an icon with three lines stacked one on top of another above that video. When you hover over this icon (called a stacker), an arrow will appear pointing left or right; select whichever direction points toward where you want to save the video by clicking on it.
In that pop-up box, you can click where it says Save File, which will direct you to another pop-up where you can type in a file name for your video.
