Live photos are a great way to add a little life to your videos. You can even make them interactive, like adding text or effects. But how do you take a video and turn it into a live photo? That’s what we’re going to show you in this tutorial!
Launch the Live Photo Album by pressing the icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Swipe over to live photos from your Memories Tab.
To use live photos in a video, swipe over to the Memories tab and then tap on a photo you want to add.
Tap on the white circle next to “Add Photo” to add that photo as a live photo. If you have multiple saved photos in this album, you may see an indicator that says “Select All” at the bottom of your screen—tap it to select all of your saved images at once (or use an app like Selective Focus).
Tap on “Remove Photo” if you no longer need any of these photos for any reason.
